I don't want my clients to have an inferior experience. Why isn't the default for clients to be using the original quality, with it only lowering if their network can't handle it?Ĭlients should be assumed to be lazy and do not want to fiddle with settings. Why is this still a thing? My CPU is strong enough to serve dozens of original quality streams, as is my network. Im 100% sure everyone here has reached out to someone, gave them guide on how to change default settings, gotten an "ok ill do it", just for the client to continue to watch in 720p.
